# Getting Started ### 👋Getting Started **Joining Frontier Cobblemon requires Fabric, not Forge.** ### Install Guide To get started with Frontier, you need to install **Cobblemon for Fabric** and its required dependencies, you can do this manually, or you can[ download our cobblemon modpack.](https://modrinth.com/modpack/frontiernetwork-cobblemon) 1\. You will need to **install the** [**Modrinth App**](https://modrinth.com/app) (or any other supported launcher) to get started. 2\. Once you've installed the Modrinth App, **you will need to login** with your Minecraft account. 3\. Modrinth automatically sets your RAM allocation to 1GB, you can change this by clicking the cog wheel at the top right of the application, **head to the java tab and adjust your ram.** 4\. Head to the modpacks page, **search for "Frontier Cobblemon" and hit install**. /spawn	Teleports you back to spawn
/back	Returns you to your previous position after teleporting
/warps	Provides a list of all warps
/warp {warp name}	Teleports you to your desired location
/poketrade {user}	Requests a trade with a user
/poketrade accept	Accepts a trade with a user
/wondertrade /wt	Opens the wondertrade GUI.
/wondertrade {slot}	Wondertrade's the pokemon at the specified slot. You still need to confirm.
/wondertrade {slot} confirm	Confirms that you want to wondertrade the pokemon!
/redeem {pokemon}	Redeems a special pokemon during an event

/envoys	Shows if any envoys are currently active. If one is, head to the co-ordinates specified and search within a 100 block radius to try to find it for good rewards!
/shop	Opens the coin shop
/store	Visit our store to purchase keys, ranks and more! Thank you for supporting the server!
/voteshop	Spend vote points for things that you can buy in our store. You don't have to spend any real money at all to get anything!
/bal	Check how many tokens/coins you have.
/baltop	See the players with the most coins!
/baltop tokens	See the players with the most tokens!
/presents progress /presents	Checks your progress with presents. Please check the page for presents for more info.
/vote	Provides vote links. Vote for the server to recieve a vote point and vote spin (per link).
/crate keys /keys	Checks how many crate keys you have. Use /warp crates to use them!
/souls	Checks how many souls you have. See the mutations page for more info.
/sacrifice {slot}	Sacrifices the pokemon in {slot} for a soul. Only works if the pokemon has a valid corresponding soul. See the mutations page for more info.
/mutations	Opens the mutations GUI. Here you can spend souls on "mutating" pokemon. See the mutations page for more info.
/mutations gift {player} {type} {amount}	Gifts {player} souls. Useful for trading!
/pokeshout {slot}	Publically shares information about the pokemon in {slot}. Use this to show off to your friends!
/afk	Sets you as AFK
/bingo	Opens the bingo GUI
/hunts	Opens the hunts GUI
/jobs	Opens the jobs GUI
/jobs biome find {type}	Locates a nearby biome. Requires level 10 Explorer
/jobs treasure find	Returns whether or not there is a nearby chest. Requires level 40 Explorer
/jobs level	Shows your jobs levels
/boosts	Shows your current active boosts
/battlepass	Opens the battlepass GUI
/battlepass level	Check your battlepass level
/mega {slot} /gimmick perm {slot}	Set a pokemon in {slot} into mega form. This doesn't let you start battles as mega, and you need to have the megastone still.
/kits	Opens the kits GUI
/quests progress /logbook	Check quest progress
/spleef	Check when the next spleef game is
/spleef join	Join a spleef game when it starts
/boosts	Check what boosts are active
/chains	Check what your current chains are

/enderchest	Opens your enderchest. A substitute for placing and opening an enderchest!
/clearinv	Clears your entire inventory. Don't worry, there is a confirm message!
/rerolls	Opens the rerolls gui. Spend coins to reroll a pokemon's IVs.
/resetevs {slot}	Resets the EVs of a pokemon in {slot} to 0.
/head	Gives the player their head as a block.
/nightvision	Allows the player to toggle the night vision potion effect.
/pokeheal	Heals your party without needing a healing machine.
/pc	Opens your PC from anywhere.
/fly	Allows you to fly in your SB.
/hat	Put any block/item on your head as a hat!
/smelt	Smelt any smeltable item in your hand!
/flyspeed {number}	Change the speed you fly in your sb. {number} can be from 1-5, with 1 being slowest and 5 being fastest.
/itemname {name}	Names the item in your hand without needing an anvil.
/repair	Repairs the item in your hand.
/god	Makes you immortal; you cannot take damage at all.
/itemlore	Edit the "lore" of an item; the text below the name.
/repairall	Repairs all items in your inventory at once.

# Custom Mods # Secret Bases ### What are secret bases? A secret base is your **own pocket dimension where you can build alone or with friends**. These are areas of Frontier that **will never reset**, we've added secret bases due to Cobblemon being in early development, with new world generation being introduced every update. Due to the constant changes in world generation, **we need to reset our main worlds regularly** (every official update). Don't worry! **Your inventory, Pokemon, enderchest, vaults and your secret base will never reset.** ### How do I create a secret base? Creating a secret base is very simple, to get started type `/sb.` This will open the Secret Base GUI. To invite your friends do `/sb invite playername` To trust a user to do **everything** on your plot do `/sb trust playername` You can kick all visitors via the `/sb` gui if needs be. # Mutations This mod lets you "sacrifice" pokemon for souls which let you change the skin on another! {% hint style="info" %} Please see the Helpful Commands page for information about commands relating to mutations! {% endhint %} ### Souls Souls are the currency of mutations. You can get a pokemon soul **only** from sacrificing the pokemon of that species. For example, you can sacrifice a riolu to get a riolu soul. You can also trade souls with players using the `/mutations gift` command. ### Mutating You mutate a pokemon by using the `/mutations` command and selecting which mutation you wish to apply to a pokemon. You then select a valid party member to apply this skin to. For example, if you had 30 riolu souls, you could spend them on turning a riolu in your party into a costume skin. See the Custom Pokémon page for mutations to see which skins you can get and how much they cost! # Presents Presents are little blocks hidden around public areas. Find them for prizes! ### Checking how many presents you have Use `/presents progress` to see how many presents you have collected. You **cannot** collect a present two times. Once you've collected all the presents in an area, you get a big reward! ### Rewards

After 10 catches, you start getting boosts. Each 10 catches of that species you get, that pokemon spawns 10% more often and the shiny chance is increased by 5%. There is no limit to how much boost you can get, but be warned, catching anything else immediately breaks your chain! Please note that catching shinies, alphas, mythicals, legendaries or ultra beasts will NOT break your chains! # Custom Structures # Legendary Bird Shrines These structures contain orbs that allow you to obtain the legendary birds.

# Diancie Shrine The diancie shrine is required to spawn Diancie. {% hint style="info" %} To spawn Diancie in the shrine, you need a [Diancie Tiara](/custom-items/spawn-items) {% endhint %} ## Spawn Location Diancie shrines spawn anywhere in the overworld underground. They resemble amethyst geodes, but are noticeably different. ## Purpose The shrine's only purpose is to spawn Diancie when a Diancie Tiara is right clicked inside it. # Spear Pillar This structure currently has no practical use, but will in a future update. ## Spawn Location Spear Pillar can be found in mountains, usually windswept hills. ## Purpose Currently Spear Pillar has no practical purpose, but in a future update it will be an important structure. Due to the large amount of quartz and other resources in the structure, its a very useful source of building materials.

# Dig Site The Dig Site is a structure containing chests, suspicious sand and bone. ## Spawn Location Dig Sites spawn in deserts across the overworld. These structures contain useful loot as well as blocks. ## Purpose Dig Sites generally contain two chests, both of which have a chance to contain [Mega Stones](/custom-items/mega-stones). There are large amounts of suspicious sand found in these structures, meaning you can boost your [Archaeology EXP](/custom-mods/jobs) quite easily. On top of this, there are large amounts of bone, which is useful to getting bonemeal for growing plants.
