Joining Frontier Cobblemon requires Fabric, not Forge.
Install Guide
To get started with Frontier, you need to install Cobblemon for Fabric and its required dependencies, you can do this manually, or you can download the official Cobblemon modpack. 1. You will need to install the Modrinth App (or any other supported launcher) to get started. 2. Once you've installed the Modrinth App, you will need to login with your Minecraft account. 3. Technic Launcher automatically sets your RAM allocation to 1GB, you can change this by clicking the cog wheel at the top right of the application, head to the java tab and adjust your ram. 4. Head to the modpacks page, search for "Cobblemon" and hit install. You will need Java 17 to load the pack successfully, you can find that here.
