# Chains {% hint style="info" %} You can also get boosts with [boosters!](/custom-mods/boosters.md) {% endhint %} ## How to chain Catch a specific pokemon again and again without catching anything else. After 10 catches, you start getting boosts. Each 10 catches of that species you get, that pokemon spawns 10% more often and the shiny chance is increased by 5%. There is no limit to how much boost you can get, but be warned, catching anything else immediately breaks your chain!
