# Chains

## How to chain

Catch a specific pokemon again and again without catching anything else. After 10 catches, you start getting boosts. Each 10 catches of that species you get, that pokemon spawns 10% more often and the shiny chance is increased by 5%. There is no limit to how much boost you can get, but be warned, catching anything else immediately breaks your chain!

Please note that catching shinies, alphas, mythicals, legendaries or ultra beasts will NOT break your chains!
